K-5 WHOLE SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS
The AIM partnerships include teachers and teaching artists working throughout the school year, to offer K-5 arts integrated lessons in the classroom for students to learn in and through arts and meet standards in their core curriculum subjects. Gaston County Schools
GAINS – Gaston Arts Integration Nurtures Success
In partnership with the United Arts Council of Gaston County and Gaston County Schools, we continue to make progress at our K-5 partnership schools--Ida Rankin Elementary and Sherwood Elementary. In addition to meeting curriculum requirements set by the North Carolina Standard Course of Study, this partnership is an affiliate member of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts national Partners in Education program.
Union County Schools
ROYAL – Reaching Our Young Artistic Learners all students in the school.
Benton Heights Year-Round Arts Magnet Elementary is our Pre K-5 partnership with Union County Schools. Artists and teachers are working together to plan and teach lessons based upon the needs of all students in the school.
