Bring your appetite to a free lunchtime presentation at the Booth Playhouse (upper lobby) on Thur. Sept. 23rd from 12PM – 1PM. To help prepare you for the Broadway show, 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL coming to Ovens Auditorium on October 5-10, Tom Hanchett from Levine Museum of the New South will describe the struggles and achievements of women in the late 70s—including the mass entrance of women into the corporate world which forever changed American society.

Join us for an evening inspired by the humor of NPR personality, DAVID SEDARIS at Joseph-Beth Book Sellers on Thurs. Sept. 23rd from 6PM – 8PM. Come prepared to share your own outrageous family stories and to participate in a fun competition for a pair of tickets to the Sedaris’ live show at the Belk Theater on October 18, 2010. The evening will include free appetizers and beverages, and a cash bar will be available. Additionally, all participants will receive a redeemable voucher for a discounted ticket to the Sedaris’ performance. Offer valid so long as tickets are available.
